All entries are inspired by a poem or poems from THE ESSENTIAL EMILY DICKINSON selected and with an introduction by Joyce Carol Oates.
Each year Write Out Loud distributes copies of a selected book to Middle and High School students throughout San Diego County. Students are encouraged to create a personal expression of the literature in the medium of their choice. These creations are reviewed by professional artists to determine the most outstanding of these entries. Scroll down to see the Winners in each category! |
